Part-Time Sales Associate Position in Bel Air, MD at Locally Owned Womens Clothing Store

Do you love fashion, styling, and working in a fast-paced, positive workplace? Are you a self starter who can work independently? 

Boutique 44 is looking for a talented, energetic, reliable individual who has an interest in fashion to join our sales team in a part-time position.  Must have Weekend and Holiday availability.

As a Boutique 44 Associate, you will be responsible for wowing customers with exceptional service by meeting their individual needs and expectations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Engage with customers as they shop and try on clothes. 
    • Provide advice on fit, style, fashion, color
    • Demonstrate knowledge of the brands carried at Boutique 44. 
    • Suggest complementary accessories, in order to support purchasing decisions and provide excellent customer service.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships. 
    • Follow up on all inquiries via phone, email, and Facebook messenger & Facebook comments to aid customers.
    • Reach out to clients individually 
  • Provide an exceptional customer service experience by exceeding their expectations. We go above and beyond for our customers.
  • Work with the team to achieve or exceed monthly and seasonal store sales goals
  • Maintain the visual appeal of the sales floor. 
    • Sizing, hanging, folding clothing. 
    • Displaying jewelry. 
    • Cleaning shelves, mirrors, floor, cash wrap, etc.
    • Keeping fitting rooms clean and clear of merchandise.
    • Assist the team with implementing visual merchandising changes, window displays, seasonal decor, and visual merchandising plans.
  • Cash wrap duties: 
    • Use our POS system to ring up customers accurately and complete returns. 
    • Wrapping and packaging merchandise in accordance to Boutique 44 standards.
    • Follow through with opening & closing procedures.
  • Inventory intake duties:
    • tagging, steaming, and checking in inventory to prep it for the sales floor and online.
    • Identifying damages
  • May assist with uploading products to our website. Boutique44.com and keeping the site up to date.
    • Price changes, fulfilling online orders, packing & shipping orders in a timely manner.
  • Assist with social media. 
    • Respond to customer inquiries via email or Facebook messenger.
    • May include pulling items to feature in a live sale or content photos
    • Employee may have the opportunity to post instagram stories, do try on videos, and model clothing if interested.  

This is a Part-Time Position (18-34 hours per week) and could lead to Full-Time Employment.  Pay ranges from $15-$17 per hour.  We are currently hiring so don't wait to reach out!
